How contractors are verified, compared, monitored and reviewed.
Before anyone is sent out
Contractors are checked before they attend: the credentials their trade requires, their insurance, and whether they have worked on this type of building before. For anything beyond a routine repair, we seek comparable quotes on an agreed scope so that competing figures are actually measuring the same job.
Once work is instructed we monitor attendance and safe working, and check the completed job on site against the scope. The invoice is then checked against the quote before it is passed for payment, and the contractor’s performance is reviewed when the arrangement comes up for renewal.
