What owners ask about
Most questions from owners fall into a handful of areas: who is responsible for a given repair, what can be recovered from a deposit, how much notice a tenant is entitled to, what has to be recorded when someone moves out, and what happens if the owner wants to sell or occupy the property.
The answers depend on the tenancy, the building and what is in the management arrangement, so we set them out in writing for the specific property rather than giving a general answer. What follows is where each responsibility normally sits.
